The Recovery Program provides a relapse prevention and recovery support program for Native American/Alaska Natives who are completing treatment, returning to the community from incarceration, or who have been working on their recovery journey using traditional method or 12 Step methods and who wish to provide support to others experiencing the same.
Mental and physical health checks are provided to incarcerated relatives whom need additional support and documentation due to interactions with guards, deputies, correctional officers or other staff members who cause them concern. Legal advocacy is also offered to incarcerated relatives to record and report concerns with public defenders, alternative defense counsel, or any concern noted by the incarcerated relative.
These relatives are at a special risk category and family referrals can be made here, in addition to our programs that provide telephone and video visits to ensure your family member is safe, and has the ability to have an advocate help with filing grievances.
